Weekend Shop & Market Lead

Midtown Bramble & Bloom is looking for a reliable, people-loving, flower-savvy team member to anchor our weekend operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, has an eye for design and merchandising, and thrives in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
About the Role
As our Weekend Shop & Market Lead, you’ll take charge of our Saturday farmers market booth and Sunday shop shifts. You’ll be the face of our business on the weekends—responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, setting up eye-catching displays, and helping customers find just the right thing. You’ll also handle transactions and ensure everything runs smoothly while representing our values.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, staff, and break down our Saturday farmers market booth (includes early mornings and outdoor work in all weather)
- Lead Sunday shop operations independently, including opening and closing
- Merchandise displays in both the booth and shop—restocking, styling, and refreshing products throughout your shift
- Engage warmly with customers, share product knowledge, and help them find what they need
- Handle point-of-sale transactions quickly and accurately
- Communicate with the team to report inventory needs, customer feedback, or ideas
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A strong eye for design and merchandising
- Dependability and comfort working solo once trained
- Reliable transportation, with the ability to transport flower arrangements and market booth supplies
- Comfort with early mornings and working outdoors on Saturdays
- Interest in learning and growing with a small, values-driven team
Pay & Schedule (approximately 12 hours/wk)
Pay starts at $15/hour, based on experience
Typical schedule includes:
- Saturdays at the farmers market (early mornings)
- Sundays in the shop (midday through closing)

This role can grow with you. Extra hours may be available based on your interest and availability, including:
- Weekday delivery shifts
- Additional shop or market shifts
- Occasional event support
- Cross-training with our farm team or floristry team
- Potential for promotion to a broader leadership role within the team
