Midtown Bramble and Bloom is an urban, micro flower farm and florist in Midtown, Memphis. The farm was founded in January of 2021 and is made up of nine different plots that are tucked away in the backyards of some of your Midtown neighbors. Midtown Bramble is very much a community farm. We are committed to paying our employees a living wage, donating part of our proceeds to organizations doing important work in Memphis, and using regenerative farming practices.
In September of 2023, we opened a flower shop and 'makery' at 2294 Young Avenue, where we do everything a normal florist would do, but with local flowers. We also offer workshops and host a weekly 'flower cafe' where guests can do flower related craft projects in our studio.
Our mission is to make Memphis a happier, healthier and more equitable place through flowers. Here are some of the ways we are doing that:
- Removing invasive plants and replacing with native species
- Donating a portion of proceeds to organizations including: Room at the Inn, WellChild, Best Buddies, The Palestinian Children's Relief Fund, the American Civil Liberties Union, The Overton Park Shell and many local schools.
- Installing 6 sidewalk pollinator gardens for community members and wildlife to enjoy
- Using only organic and regenerative farming practices
- Implementing green floristry techniques and composting floral debris
- Prioritizing locally made items in our gift shop

Midtown Bramble and Bloom is owned by husband and wife team Marisa Mender-Franklin and Corey Franklin. Marisa is the florist and farmer in chief, and Corey is behind the scenes, making sure that everything runs as it should.
