Join farmer-florist Marisa Mender-Franklin for a 60 minute workshop where you will learn to make your own hag torch using liatris seed heads, beeswax and dried flowers from our farm. Hag torches are a primitive version of a candle that uses a dried flower stalk as the wick. They tend to be slow burning, making them excellent for travelers and for use in rituals and celebrations.
Your ticket price includes all tools and supplies needed to create a set of hag torches, a selection of dried flowers to adorn them, a complimentary beverage and the 60 minute workshop.
This workshop will be held on Thursday, October 22nd at 6pm at Midtown Bramble and Bloom (2294 Young Avenue).
