Learn to press your own flowers and arrange them in a glass frame. You'll leave with your own flower press and a complete frame designed by you! During this 90 minute workshop you will assemble your own flower press and then farmer-florist Marisa Mender Franklin will teach you how to press fresh flowers using your new press. At the end of class, you'll get to create a pressed flower frame with pre-pressed flowers. You'll leave with your own flower press, a framed piece of art and some flowers drying away in your press.
This workshop will take place on Thursday, May 23rd at 6 pm at Midtown Bramble and Bloom, located at 2294 Young Avenue.
